BABY FUR SEAL SUNS ITSELF AT TERRIGAL

Beach-goers were treated to a special sight at Terrigal today, as a baby fur seal sunned itself near the rock pool.

The pup made itself comfortable on a ledge close to the boardwalk, well within viewing distance of those passing by.

The seal appeared uninjured, but there was no sign of mum.

The RSPCA says people should keep their distance from the animal, to avoid it becoming distressed.
