Today saw the final construction of the pipeline between Willow Tree and Quirindi.
The new system is a major boost for water security in the Willow Tree community.
The $4.8-million dollar pipeline has been functional since February.
It’s strength was put to the test last month, as firefighters pumped thousands of litres of water down the pipeline during the blaze at the Willow Tree Bowling Club.
