Gosford Mayor, Lawrie McKinna has announced he will re-contest the role at the end of the month, when council votes for a new leader.
The Mayor, who has been in the job for two years, made the announcement on Twitter overnight, and says he’s happy with the way things are going in the region and wants to do more.
Council will vote on September 29th.
