An icon of Scone’s main street is getting a new lease on life.
The town’s Civic Theatre is undergoing major restoration works, with parts of the heritage facade unveiled this week.
Every element has been matched exactly to the building’s glory days, dating back to 1938.
Tomorrow night, new neon signage will be switched on for the first time.
But it could still be a while before the movies roll once more… work continues on the interior, with hopes everything will be complete next year.
