Knights wingers James McManus and Akuila Uate have been ruled out for the rest of the season, with Uate undergoing knee surgery late last week.
Despite breaking Newcastle’s all-time try scoring record, injury has disrupted Uate’s season, and he’s struggled to find consistency.
The 26-year-old is expected to join pre-season training before Christmas.
