– The remains of a man have been found inside a crocodile that was shot dead by rangers in the Northern Territory. The 57-year-old was attacked and killed in front of his wife while they were fishing at the Adelaide River, east of Darwin
– Heavy rain has caused a driveway to collapse at a building site in Sydney causing a gas main to erupt. A nearby block of units has been evacuated.
– Firefighters and a water-spraying helicopter are working to control a grass fire that started last night on Bribie Island, north of Brisbane. The fire flared up again this morning, jumping containment lines set out by the 10 crews on scene.
– Students in Melbourne could soon be getting a few more sleep-ins.. With some schools considering changing their hours. At Templestowe college, students will be able to start lessons mid morning if they choose.
