The Red Cross Blood Service in Coffs Harbour is calling for blood donors.
A spokesperson says stocks are down and there’s only two days’ supply throughout the state for O-Negative and O-Positive blood.
The cold and flu season has impacted on stocks, as well as a spike in demand from hospitals.
