Armidale residents seeking to safely dispose of chemical waste will find it easier this weekend, when the waste management facility hosts its Household Chemical CleanOut.
Old chemicals such as paints, pesticides and hazardous cleaning products can be dropped off on Saturday and Sunday between 12 and 4 o’clock.
Council will accept the first litre or kilogram for free.
The event has been organised with support from the Environmental Protection Authority.
