Students at The University of Newcastle’s Ourimbah campus have joined a campaign against the coalition government’s plans to deregulate universities.
Those against the changes fear the cost of obtaining a degree will rise.
Labor Senator Deborah O’Neil visited the university’s two campuses today to drum up support for an online petition against the changes.
