Septic tanks have now been phased out on Port Macquarie’s North Shore, with Council’s Sewerage Scheme complete.
The $9.5 million project linked properties to the town’s existing sewerage system, through a pipeline under the Hastings River.
It’s expected to deliver environmental benefits, by reducing the number of septic tanks leaking into the river.
