Around 30 homes are under threat from a bushfire at Upper Lansdowne, north west of Taree.
The blaze, which broke out this afternoon, has already ripped through more than 10 hectares of bushland, and is moving towards homes on Gungully Road.
The Rural Fire Service has issued an emergency alert, advising effected residents to follow their bushfire survival plans.
