Tamworth’s Nell Johnson might be celebrating her 100th birthday this week, but she’s still got a spring in her step.
Family and friends say Nell, who was today made a life member at the West Leagues Club, is a social butterfly.
She plays lawn bowls twice a week and enjoys trying her luck at card games.
“I don’t worry too much about age, it’s how you feel, see I’ve always had good health and if I can still keep anything up here (points to head), there’s no reason not to be around.”
