Merewether’s Ryan Callinan will take on Byron Bay’s Garrett Parkes when the US Open of Surfing moves into round four later tonight, Australian time.
It’s been an up and down contest so far for Callinan.
He produced the highest wave score in round two, a nine point four, only to finish last in his heat in round three.
