Quirindi graziers Derek and Kirrily Blomfield have been named New South Wales Farmers of the Year.
The couple operate ‘Colarado’ – a 980 hectare cattle farm on the Liverpool Plains.
They’ve been recognised for their regenerative farming practices.
A Dorrigo potato and beef producer and a Goulburn turkey grower both received runner-up awards.
