A 22-year-old woman has been charged after she allegedly stole a car and led police on a pursuit in West Tamworth.
At around five o’clock this morning an SUV was stolen from a Calala home – it was then spotted a short time later in Edinburgh Street in Coledale.
A pursuit was initiated and it’s believed the driver lost control and crashed the vehicle on Bent Street.
The woman has been charged with six offences – she remains in custody.
