A 16-year-old boy has been charged with assault following an incident on a school bus at Tingha yesterday.
A 33-year-old male bus driver was asked to stop the vehicle on Hospital Flat Road just after 3 o’clock, before the younger male struck him across the face with a tyre lever.
The driver was taken to Armidale Hospital suffering serious facial injuries.
