Entries are now open for the 2014 Farmer of the Year Award.
Judges are looking for people who run their properties profitably and sustainably.
Entrants will also be assessed on their ability to share skills with peers.
The New England region will be hoping for more strong entries, after Guyra greenhouse manager Godfrey Dol was announced as a joint winner last year.
Application forms are available on the New South Wales Farmers website, and entries close on September 19.
