Community groups from across the Hastings have been given a share in more than $400,000.
The Westport Club donated the funds to 36 organisations as part of its ClubGRANTS initiative, which aims to improve community life.
Camden Haven Sea Scouts and Girl Guides were among the groups who benefited.
