Police are appealing for information after a 25-year-old man was fatally run over near Kempsey early Sunday morning.
Officers believe he may have fallen asleep on the road, after leaving a party earlier in the night.
The incident happened at South West Rocks Road at Austral Eden, at around 2:40am.
The car’s driver was taken to hospital for mandatory blood and urine tests.
