Residents in Tamworth and Armidale are being warned about training course scams in the region.
New South Wales Fair Trading has received reports of two marketers offering money or laptops to sign up for programs costing tens of thousands of dollars.
The government has issued a reminder that anyone who has signed up is entitled to a 10-day cooling off period under Consumer Law.
If anyone is concerned, they should call the office of Fair Trading on 13 32 20.
