School students have been spending their holidays wandering through a virtual galaxy at Port Macquarie.
The Adventist School is staging its annual vacation care program and this year the theme is Operation Space.
Classrooms have become space scenes, the school hall has been taken over by cosmic craft and the oval has been the venue for galactic games.
More than 130 space cadets are taking a trek through space, sharing their orbit with a host of dedicated volunteer leaders.
Organisers are already starting to collect relics and decorations for next year’s program, which will be focusing on ancient Egypt.
