WOMENS RUGBY LEAGUE RETURNING TO THE REGION

Women’s Rugby League is growing rapidly in the north west, with plans announced for two local competitions.

The CRL has green lit 2017 matches in both the Group 4 and Group 19 regions.

It follows the success of last summer’s inaugural north west nines tournament.

Organisers are also hoping for a junior under 17s edition again.

There’ll be ‘Come and Try’ sessions in November, before games kick off later in the month.

Players and clubs interested in competing are urged to contact their local competitions committee.
