The Port Vintage Eight are celebrating after taking out silver at the State Masters Rowing titles in Sydney.
Up against ex-olympians and world champions, the eight-man crew was quick off the mark, settling into the top three.
At the 750 metre mark, the team overtook the Leichardt crew, holding them off to claim second place.
“Big relief there because we’ve been training every week for quite some time now so it all came off pretty good”
