Legendary race horse trainer Joe Janiak, who shot to fame with his horse Takeover Target, has entered its stable mate, ‘ Move Over Target’, in tomorrow’s Bellingen Cup.
The Cup, which will be raced at Bowraville, will be held on a dry track which the Nambucca River Jockey Club hasn’t seen in almost three years.
However, the country racetrack has received more than its share of rain recently and club officials are hoping tomorrow’s race day will boost its coffers.
The predicted sunshine and almost perfect weather is expected to draw a big crowd to the seven race fixture.
