Golfers from across the state have arrived in Port Macquarie, for the 49th annual Seaside Classic Week of Golf.
The eight day program started with a Four Ball Best Ball Stableford – one of several curtain raisers to the prestigious trophy event.
“There’s about 20 players who have plus handicaps, the main attraction there of course is going to be Tim Hyland who is attempting to become the first person to win the classic in 3 consecutive years,” Port Macquarie Golf Club’s Keith Heap said.
The Ladies Seaside Classic starts on Tuesday, followed by the men’s championship next weekend.
