A Gold Coast mother accused of murdering her son will spend Christmas behind bars.
Kim Earle allegedly killed her 18 year old son and then reported it to police Friday morning.
His body was found in the Southport home they shared.
She was emotional in the dock and the 46 year old is being seen by health professionals.
The case returns to court in Feburary.
