A new event is coming to the Northern Rivers next year…
Lismore City Council forging ahead with plans for a COVID-safe ‘Shine Festival’ in September.
The federal government’s contributing close to $150,000 towards the festival, which is inspired by Vivid Sydney.
“It will be a feature for our city and our region we’ll do some illumination, illuminated art works, live sculpture, feature some indigenous storytelling and really showcase our fantastic area,” Lismore City Councillor, Elly Bird, said.
It’s hoped local musicians and artists will feature in the week-long event.
