The Coalition will fund the long-awaited upgrade of Port Macquarie’s basketball stadium.
$2.8-million was allocated in 2011 by the former federal Labor government, but the money was in doubt because contracts weren’t signed before the change in government.
That funding has now been confirmed under the Coalition’s new Community Development Grants Programme.
The development application will go before the Joint Regional Planning Panel next week.
