AIRLINE INQUIRY WILL GO AHEAD

Member for Northern Tablelands Adam Marshall has confirmed an inquiry into regional air services will go ahead in the new year.
As deputy chair of the State and Regional Development Committee, he pushed for the inquiry to search for better options for travellers outside metropolitan areas.
He says a direct airlink to Sydney is vital, saying he’s happy to work with multiple carriers to achieve that goal.
Member of the New South Wales Legislative Council Rick Colless will head the enquiry next year.
