Police are still appealing for witnesses, after a female worker at the Long Jetty Subway store was robbed at knifepoint yesterday afternoon.
Officers say the bandit first tried to steal money from the till at the nearby Civic Video store, but was unsuccessful.
He then pulled a knife on the Subway employee, before fleeing with cash.
A 22-year-old man was arrested a short time later and is due to face court tomorrow.
