15 months after the iconic Bonds factory in Cessnock closed, leaving 400 workers without jobs, the site has a new owner.
The local PCYC has bought the Short Street building for $1.6-million.
The factory will be converted to include a multi-purpose court, along with meeting and administration rooms.
The PCYC will begin moving in early next year.
