A proposal to construct a Masters home improvement store in South Tamworth, has gone on public display.
The proposed development would see the parcel of land on Hilton Street and Scott Road rezoned to allow commercial use.
“There are currently three different zones on the site where they want to develop. It’s residential, it’s rural and then there’s part that’s mixed use already.”
So far safety seems to be the biggest concern.
“Those questions are focused, I guess, around traffic for the most part. But some others, some are about flooding.”
The plans will remain on exhibition until December 20.
