An Inverell man has been sentenced to up to 12 months in jail, after pleading guilty to numerous firearms offences.
The 27 year old was arrested at 7:30pm on Friday, before being charged with possessing an unregistered firearm and not keeping firearms safe while possessing an unlicensed firearm.
He will be eligible for parole after six months.
