The Newell Highway remains closed this afternoon due to a truck crash north of Moree.
Around 2.30pm, a B-Double and a semi-trailer were travelling North along the highway when they collided.
Both vehicles caught fire on impact.
The truck driver sustained serious burns and has been transported to Moree Hospital.
His current condition is unknown.
