Southport was swarming with police this morning after a wanted man slipped right through their fingers.
A plain-clothed officer noticed the 31 year old – wanted for questioning over an armed robbery – and tried to approach him, but the man ran off.
The dog squad was called in to search nearby units, but couldn’t find the man.
