The Newcastle basketball fraternity is mourning the loss of Falcons legend Ian Davies, who passed away in Hobart yesterday, aged 57.
Davies was a star of the NBL and with the Boomers, becoming the leading scorer at the 1980 Olympics.
His four season stint in Newcastle in the early 80’s made a big impression.
