Cyclists are concerned the confusion caused by a Southport light rail intersection, could cost a life.
They say, drivers turning left from Queen into Wardoo Street, are on a collision course with riders.
During track construction, the ‘left turn only’ lane was changed into a dedicated Bike Lane.
“I’ve physically riden my pushbike in the bike lane straight across this intersection And with traffic turning now from the straight ahead lane forced a car to turn across my path.”
The road will be handed back to Council next month, when a review of the intersection will be undertaken.
