The search for a man who went missing during a camping trip in the Hunter Valley has been abandoned.
The 43-year-old was last seen leaving the Timor Caves Camping Ground near Murrurundi around 4am on Saturday.
The group he was with failed to find him, and alerted police around 7pm.
Police coordinated a land search throughout Sunday, but the search was called off in the afternoon. There are no concerns for his safety.
The missing man is described as being of Caucasian appearance, 180cm tall and about 70kg. He has blonde hair and blue eyes and was last seen wearing jeans and a jumper.
