Merewether surfer Jess Adam’s red-hot run today continued in one of Newcastle’s longest and most most prized competitions.
Adam, who last weekend steered Merewether to a win in the Northern New South Wales National teams event, beat Ryan Callinan in the final of the Ray Richards Memorial.
The 25th annual event is named in honour of surfing legend Mark Richards’ father.
