After only 12 months wearing the Baggy Green, Bendemeer’s Josh Hazlewood has been named in the International Cricket Council’s Test Team of the Year.
The fast bowler has claimed 53 wickets in 12 matches, including a five-wicket haul on debut.
Meanwhile, Hazlewood has also been named in the 13-man squad to take on the touring West Indies side, but is expected to be rested during the series.
