Premier Barry O’Farrell, was given a warm reception yesterday evening, when he made a flying visit to East Maitland Bowling Club.
As part of the club’s centenary celebrations, Mr O’Farrell officially opened a new undercover green.
“I was fearful he wouldn’t get here so I am very thankful that he actually found the time to come and join us.”
The club donated $50,000 to Maitland Hospital.
