Coffs local and ex-serviceman Scott Seccombe is urging the younger generation to have a greater presence at Remembrance Day celebrations after low attendance rates in previous years.
“it really is time for the young ex-serviceman and the younger veteran from all our present day conflicts, Somalia, Rwanda, Bosnia, right through to Afghanistan to come and be a part of the day”, Mr Seccombe said.
Last year’s Anzac celebrations saw 60 younger ex-serviceman in attendance and similar numbers are hoped for celebrations around the region on November 11.
