Mid North Coast athletes are appealing to the public for donations to help with travel costs ahead of the Special Olympics in December.
The event is about supporting people with an intellectual disability, regardless of their skills.

Over 400 athletes from across Australia are training and fundraising hard to raise the funds required for them to represent and compete for Australia at the inaugural Special Olympics Asia Pacific Games.
