‘PUZZLING WONDER’ SOAKS-UP HEAVY TRACK TO WIN GLEN INNES CUP

Some much needed rainfall in the Northern Tablelands didn’t dampen the spirits of punters who attended yesterday’s Glen Innes Cup – in fact, quite the opposite.

‘Puzzling Wonder’ soaking-up the heavy track conditions for trainer Wayne Oakenfull.

The eight-year-old gelding stormed home down the straight.

Odds-on-favourite ‘Vega de Lago’ finished fourth.
