Under the federal government’s multi-million dollar mobile blackspots program, Dungowan and Woolomin will soon get the service they’ve been asking for.
“For the tourists and travelling public it’s something that I guess you know, lifestyle slash society has come to expect is the norm and it’s, it gets a bit frustrating when you don’t have it.”
While Inverell Shire secured a number of towers, none were allocated to the problem area at Copeton Dam.
Federal MP Barnaby Joyce says he’ll push to have it included in the next round.
