Taree road racer Alex Cudlin has finished equal first, in round one of the Qatar Superbike Championship.
The defending champion got off to a slow start in race one, but managed to take home race two.
Cudlin says he and his team are still getting used to the set-up of his new Kawasaki bike, but he’s confident he can bring home a double-win in round two next month.
The 27-year-old is aiming for his fourth consecutive title at the championship.
