  1. People should not have to destroy the Earth to make a living .Every one of us have to considerer every decision we make in term of the time we are in. This is the time to PROTECT the PLANET. We need to think before we accept a job… I rather go hungry that destroying the Earth .

  2. The prayers of the protectors, for a quick recovery, are with him, as was the absolute co-operation of clearing barricades, ferrying ambulance officers to the site, etc.
This logging has been conducted with undue haste & urgency though, possibly at the expense of safe work practices?
    Get well soon.

  3. Please note that the Forestry Corp worker was standing at the safety tape and was therefore supposedly in a safe area of the work site. This operation was being carried out hell for leather and safety protocols were not being followed. Its not a question of the activists causing this. The contractor was operating in a dangerous way and therefore caused an injury to one of the Forest Corp guys on site. This was always going to be a contentious issue and they knew by trying to log into bio diverse forests in Terania just up the ridge from Protesters Falls that they would get protests. This has been a very poorly veiled attack on the heart of the green movement by Forest Corp. They and their contractors have hurt one of their own through their irresponsible actions and now they have attacked and threatened local people defending our environment. One person from the protest camp was viciously pulled from his tent and attacked last night by a bunch of loggers and there have been serious threats made against many other local people involved in the action. Police so far have worked side by side with the industry against the wishes or best interest of the greater community and have demonstrated very serious acts of collusion with Forest Corp. They even visited the logging camp first after protesters reported the assaults apparently to make sure they had the loggers story straight. One has to question just what the state government hopes to achieve with these very dangerous actions.
