The Newcastle Yowies have won their second straight New South Wales Aboriginal Knockout title.
They beat local rivals, the Mindaribba Warriors from Maitland, in this afternoon’s final.
Gold Coast Titans star Albert Kelly kicked the winning field goal in extra time.
“The Yowies go back to back … they’ve won it again.”
In the women’s decider, the Yowies made it a double, with Newcastle easily accounting for Kempsey.
