Knights captain Kurt Gidley has confirmed he’s out for the rest of the NRL season.
Gidley will have a shoulder reconstruction after dislocating the joint in last week’s win over the Panthers at Hunter Stadium.
After visiting the surgeon this morning, Gidley tweeted “I’m really really disappointed to announce that my season is unfortunately over. Need a shoulder reconstruction. Devastating….”
