A 41-year-old Kootingal man has been charged with high range drink driving and had his licence suspended.
At 7:30 last night, the man was allegedly caught driving at 80 kilometres per hour in a 50 kilometre zone, before increasing his speed to 130 kilometres per hour and swerving across the road.
The man will reappear before Tamworth local court in mid October.
